Valve & Filter Corporation (VAF), a Colorado company, was incorporated in 1979 with a charter to distribute and manufacture innovative fluid handling equipment for industry. Our first products were Filtomat Automatic Water Filters and Inbal Automatic Control Valves. For over fifteen years we imported these product lines from Israel for distribution throughout North America.
In 1993 we began manufacturing our own automatic self-cleaning water filters
and control valves. These are sold and marketed under the trade name VAF2000
Filters and 
Valves. Currently we have 23 representatives
through out the United States. Markets we’re currently serving include
general industrial, steel manufacturing, power generation, chemical and petrochemical,
refinery, food processing, mining, water/wastewater and irrigation.
We
currently produce water filters ranging from two inch (100 GPM) to sixteen
inch (5000 GPM) in several styles and models. We can provide filters made
from steel, stainless steel or any special high temperature/high pressure
material. We can furnish an ASME code -stamp if the customer requires this.
We also manufacture two electronic controllers, which can be used to control
any strainer or sand type industrial water filter. One of these is battery
controlled with a guaranteed battery life of three years.
The
control valve is currently offered in sizes
2-10 inches and can be configured to handle almost any type of function, (pressure
regulation, flow control, pressure relief, surge control etc.)
We also assemble complete pump/filter skid-mounted packages including the necessary pumps, filters, starters, controls, piping, control valves, flow meters etc.
We supply both parts and service (including complete filter rebuilds) for our own filters as well as for other major filtration systems including Orival Filters, and Amiad/Filtomat Filters. Finally, we have two registered professional engineers on staff and have the capability to design and build large manifold filter systems including the skids, manifolds and valves.
