VAF Filtration Systems' CTF-Series (Cooling Tower Filter) Systems are designed and built for:
- Ease of installation,
- The most efficient cleaning in the industry,
- Total automation, adjustability and control, and
- Minimal maintenance.
The CTF-Series footprint is small, and installation is as simple as it gets with four easy steps. Connect (1) the inlet, (2) the outlet, (3) the flush line and (4) the power, and the system is ready to clean your tower.
Filtration of cooling towers increases efficiency, decreases downtime, reduces chemical requirements, and protects the entire system from damaging contaminants.
This system utilizes the newest, state-of-the-art self-cleaning screen filtration technology available today. The CTF-Series Cooling Tower Filter System is capable of removing 100% of all suspended solids greater than the screen micron opening, including "floaters" (particles with a specific gravity less than water). Also, the flush cycle occurs only when it is needed. Flush duration is only 15 - 20 seconds. The result is the lowest flush flow available - only a few gallons per flush - minimizing water waste.
"TurbulatorTM" Basin Agitation System:
- Keeps solids suspended for removal
- Reduces blow down cycles and waste
- Increases life-cycle of tower chemicals
The CTF-Series System comes with high quality controls and gages that allow you to monitor cleaning performance and to adjust for a wide range of changing conditions. The skid is constructed of heavy duty carbon steel diamond plate platform with a carbon steel channel frame.
