MF-Series

Two-stage screen filters designed for use in industrial, municipal and irrigation applications, either as control filters or as main filters.

The filter element is made of a PVC cylinder coated with a highly durable, long lasting 316 SS screen.

The filters have been designed and built in accordance with the principle of water flow through the cylinder screen openings while solid particles are collected at the lower section of the filter. These particles can be easily removed by opening the cover and washing the screen manually following a filter water drainage by a drain valve.

Standard Characteristics:

  • Inlet/outlet on an axis of 180°.
  • Filter housing material of construction: Carbon Steel.
  • The filters are electrostatically coated with polyester or epoxy powder at a thickness of 150-200 µm (micron meters) and oven cured.
  • Filters are supplied with a double filter element, available in varying micron sizes as needed: 60-800 µm (micron meters) [Note: With the exception of models MF-6, MF-8, and MF-10 which are supplied with one filter screen element].
  • Inlet/outlet can be either:
    1. 2" MPT 
    2. Flanged 3" - 10" 
  • Maximum recommended working pressure: up to 10 bar (150 psi).

Special Characteristics:

  • High pressure range: up to 16 bar (232 psi).
